We Can’t Wait To Meet You
Behind FloraSoma are two creators:
Juliana and Alecia Suzanne.
Each arrived here through her own path — one through flowers, one through the body. Learn more about their backgrounds and the journeys that led to this collaboration.
Alecia Suzanne
Alecia Suzanne is an Embodiment Facilitator & Integrative Practitioner with over 31 years of experience helping people return to themselves through body-based awareness, presence, and creative process.
Across thousands of hours of one-on-one and small group work, she has supported clients in moving from stress and self-doubt toward clarity, confidence, and quiet steadiness. Her approach draws from decades in somatic therapy, acupressure, trauma-informed coaching, and neuroacoustic integration — weaving science, art, and the sacred intelligence of the body.
Alecia is the Co-Founder of FloraSoma and co-developer of The Embodied Floral Design™ Method, a collaboration that merges ikebana-inspired floral artistry with somatic presence. This work explores how creativity and the body’s awareness can restore our sense of belonging to the living world.
She also developed The Human Maintenance Project™, a self-guided online course in nervous system awareness and embodied resilience, and teaches Handing Out Lanterns, an online workshop on inner authority and creative presence.
Her upcoming work, The Inner Authority Framework™, invites individuals and groups into a lived experience of self-trust — where the nervous system, creativity, and consciousness come into alignment.
Juliana Hans
Juliana has always been drawn to beauty — the kind that’s alive, fleeting, and honest. What began as a quiet personal practice with flowers grew into a full creative calling. After years of working and learning alongside many talented florists and artists she admired, she founded You Pretty Thing, an independent floral and design studio based along the Jersey Shore.
Her work has always been intimate and intentional — florals and handwritten details for weddings and gatherings that carry a sense of story and soul. Every design is an act of listening: to the client, to the landscape, to what wants to emerge through color, texture, and form. Integrity for the earth is at the heart of her process. She designs without floral foam and sources locally whenever possible, guided by a respect for both art and ecology.
In 2023, Juliana began seeking something deeper — a way to connect the quiet transformation she saw in her floral work with the inner transformation she longed to explore in herself. She later reached out to Alecia Suzanne, once her mentor and now her creative partner, to co-create something new. Together they founded FloraSoma and developed The Embodied Floral Design Method — a practice that weaves nervous system awareness with floral artistry.
Through this collaboration, Juliana’s work has evolved beyond design into a form of presence — an invitation to slow down, breathe, and let beauty become a mirror for the inner life.
